Subject, let's call her 'X' has chanced upon a discovery, or rather a series of discoveries.
Discovery 001- Introspection is a dangerous thing,.
Discovery 002, Subject X is a chronic introspector.
Discovery 003, introspections after a certain point, during a period of constancy, are repetitive. They then start to get boring. So subjects nitpick- yes, nitpick- the aforementioned introspection.
Over
And over
And over again.
Then when subjects believe the nitpicking has solved every glitch/problem that could it could possibly encounter- and might have even perfected responses to queries posed, subjects feel the need to vent/share it with the world- or the person/people she feels will most benefit from the same.
From hereonforth, it is called it an "insight".
Insights, Discovery 004, are dangerous things. Because:
(A) People / Person (Referred to as Guinea Pigs) with whom the insight is shared, do not react in the manner expected.
(B) Most Guinea Pigs laugh.
(C) Others wonder if you are a psycho, and then discover they are not far from the truth.
Reactions A, B and C all usually meet the same result with the chronic introspector. Extreme anguish at the fact that recepient Guinea Pig did not appreciate:
(1) the insight,
(2) the thought process behind the insight, and/or
(3) the fact that the thought occurred to you.
The reaction usually worries the Chronic Introspector X, and makes her wonder as to what led to the lack of appeal of the insight shared.
This is in turn. Discovery 005, leads to introspection about the insight.
Discovery 006, this is a vicious circle. It never, that's right- say it with me this time- never ever, ends.
The end.
Or not. Get it?
Vicious circle, it'll never end, get it?
Sigh. Lost on you people.
